- Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2014I've been following Tracey Black's awesome blog Don't Mess With Mama for a while and she always has awesome recipes and articles. This book is no exception. It's filled with great healthy gluten free recipes.
The thing that I love about this book is that it's not filled with gluten-free junk food! Just because it's gluten free doesn't mean it's healthy and this book really focuses on healthy clean real food that is also gluten-free.
This book is perfect for families who want to clean up their diet. It has tons of information about switching to a real food diet including focus on healthy fats, soaking/sprouting and fermented foods. The recipes are not overly complicated and most of them are kid friendly and easy to make. I can't wait to make the zucchini hash browns, pumpkin bread and the almond butter chocolate chip cookies, yum!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2014This cook book has some great and very doable recipes along with helpful information about eating healthy and gluten free. What held me back from giving it five stars was the fact that there were several sections where a description didn't match a recipe, I.e. Where the citrus smoothie said you could add yogurt or almond butter, but they were not listed in the ingredients as these add-ons were actually for the next recipe. I also found the section referring to soaking nuts and grains to be a bit disjointed. I also found that what looked like possible internet links did not work. Overall, I would still recommend this book. It does have great recipes, but it just needs a bit of editing by the author to fix some typos, cut and paste mistakes and any broken links.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2014This book is a real treat for our family. The tips and reasons for gluten free have been insightful and written so that my children understand. And my picky little boy is enjoying Chapter 4!
We are enjoying the recipes from breakfast to dinner and appetizer to dessert! Even condiments. A great go-to. Highly recommend…just may need a printed copy soon.

1.0 out of 5 stars Suckered again
First off, I really like the author's website which is why I purchased the book. Feeding 3 young picky eaters is really difficult, so I was hoping for kid friendly recipes that they would want to eat.
I feel suckered when in a recipe book, there are recipes that are for " cucumber salad", where there are cucumbers and oil drizzled over top. Blueberries with coconut whipped cream. Seriously? How does that get a pass in a recipe book? Another favorite: arrange tomatoes and cheese on a plate (alternating) and pour pesto over top. That's just lazy to include that in a book people are paying money for to give ideas for meals.
I wouldn't recommend this is anyone:(
Totally disappointed.
