What we ate today – 09/25/12

This post is part of Homemade Mommy’s ‘what we ate today’ series. I post what both I ate and what I fed my 3 year old daughter to give this community ideas on how to eat real food and that it is possible to feed a child REAL food.

Today’s dinner features one of my great-grandmother’s recipes.  I am glad I ended up making this today because my daughter was sick with a tummy bug and this was the perfect thing to have on hand (even though she only had a few bites of it) because of the healing chicken broth in it.
