What we ate today – 10/04/12

This post is part of Homemade Mommy’s ‘what we ate today’ series. I post what both I ate and what I fed my 3 year old daughter to give this community ideas on how to eat real food and that it is possible to feed a child REAL food.

I made some babaganoush today with all the eggplants I had (which was a lot from my CSA).  I also made a new recipe as my re-purposed leftover recipe this week – zucchini pizza boats!

Salad (with new fresh lettuces from my garden!) with babaganoush, leftover taco meat and avocado, pomegranate seeds, pickled beets
Bacon, roasted egg, Raw Colby cheese, arugula (from our garden), pickled beets, pomegranate seeds

Cheeseburger Pizza Zucchini Boats (new recipe!), rice

Dessert: Chocolate Ice Cream
