What we ate today – 10/09/12

This post is part of Homemade Mommy’s ‘what we ate today’ series. I post what both I ate and what I fed my 3 year old daughter to give this community ideas on how to eat real food and that it is possible to feed a child REAL food.

Fun day with lots of cooking! I finished off a new batch of black beans and veal stock which I started yesterday.  Thankfully I had some help today.

Salad greens, chicken salad, avocado, sauerkraut
Warm black beans and raw Colby cheese

PM Snack

Raw Colby cheese, dried cranberries

Dinner

Leftover slow cooker Korean short ribs and oxtail, sauteed bok choy and red peppers, rice, simple seared salmon, sweet potatoes persillade, kale chips
