Lemon Honey Sugar Scrub

Lemon Honey Sugar Scrub

I am planning a ‘make and take’ DIY beauty party for the holidays and wanted to include a sugar scrub. I just love lavender and lemon scents and they are so calming in the bathtub. .

While I don’t normally eat cane sugar, I know it will be just perfect for this scrub so you can just buy plain white sugar. I still chose to buy organic but you do not have to. The raw honey gives a further moisture boost to your skin. I added the rosemary for more herbal scent and it will also serve as to exfoliate the skin along with the sugar.

I hope you enjoy this one!

  1. Great recipe, I also use raw honey as a moisturising facial cleanser! I discovered the method at (www.benefitsrawhoney.com) after a few days my acne cleared and my skin has never looked better! Natural ingredients are the way to go!

  2. This looks amazing! I’ve never made my own sugar scrub, but your recipe inspires me to finally try it out!

  3. Perfect complement to the homemade lavender hand/foot cream I’m making for a secret Santa gift at my spinning and weaving guild! Thank you for posting the recipe! Can’t wait to share it 🙂

  4. Any reason this couldn’t be kept in a plastic jar rather than glass?

    1. Then lemon essential oil will degrade the plastic and eat holes in it.

      1. Is is just lemon that will do that, or any essential oil? For example, I have a homemade peppermint body butter that I put in an old plastic tub I have. So far so good with that one.
