As you know, I have curly hair so I need something that will help with frizz this time of year. I have been experimenting with recipes and finally found a homemade no-frizz hair styling whip I LOVE. Now I can share this homemade no-frizz styling whip with you too! Curly girls can rejoice and enjoy your curls this summer! A little goes a LONG way – I use just a dab (like a tiny dab my friends – about an 1/8 of a tsp) and rub into my hair when it is wet after I shower. Then I style it by creating curly locks with my fingers. I let it air dry and it is smooth and silky, not crispy or frizzy!
So what’s the recipe for this homemade no-frizz hair styling whip concoction?

Can anything but V-6 work? I have fractionated coconut oil and is there a good sub for argan oil? We have a sensitivity to it. I know I can try other things to see if they work, but I’m wondering if there is something in those oils that you’ve chosen that work specifically for this hair whip – I figured I’d ask ahead of time so I don’t waste materials if you already know the answer. I’d love to give it a whirl. Thanks!

If you read right below the ingredients I listed jojoba oil as a substitute. I haven’t tried it myself but that would be my first thought!

How do you get 1/8 tsp of stuff to spread through all of your hair … even wet?
Lindsey Gremont says
I rub it into my fingers and then rub it through my hair! Don’t get hung up on my specifics – everyone’s hair is different – experiment and see what works for you!
Pamela says
how do you get the honey to mix well? I cant get it to blend without melting the whole thing, then blending, but still it does not want to blend in?
My mixture would not whip either?
any suggestions?
thank you

I did not melt mine – I just put all the ingredients as they were into the mixer and beat it on high until it was nice and fluffy! Hope that helps!
