What we ate today – 06/29/12

Breakfast
Me: 2 fried eggs in coconut oil, fermented salsa
DD: the usual – yogurt, applesauce, flax seeds/cinnamon, fried egg

Snack
DD: peaches

Lunch
Me: curried vegetable soup (summer squash, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, arugula, chicken, chicken stock, coconut milk)
DD: egg salad with homemade mayo and pickles, side of slices of @saltandtime dried sausage, raw gouda and pickles
Note: DD wanted to help me make the mayo this morning – she dumped in all the ingredients and manned the Cuisinart + learned a new big word – ’emulsion’

Snack:
DD: watermelon

Family Dinner
Breakfast for dinner – kale, red onion, mushroom frittata muffins and bacon
fruit for dessert
