We are starting to see peaches down here in Central Texas! We are so excited to have peaches again that I am basically putting them in everything so expect to see some more peach recipes coming up!
Here is what I came up with this morning for my regular kefir smoothie. It is basically a deconstructed and blended cobbler recipe and it is mighty tasty.
Peach Blueberry Cobbler Smoothie
This recipe serves two people and is fairly filling for a light breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk kefir (what is kefir?) [you can substitute yogurt]
- 1 Tbsp ghee (what is ghee?) [you can substitute butter]
- ¼ cup frozen blueberries
- 1 peach, pit removed
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup (where to buy)
- 2 Tbsp soaked granola
Directions
Blend all of the ingredients in a high speed blender and drink up!

Going through all of your recipes now that I found your amazing blog from the awesome vitamix giveaway! Do you add the ghee/butter to make the cobbler flavor? I’m a college student who tries to eat VERY clean and not sure how I feel about a tablespoon of butter haha! Think it will still taste the same without it? Thanks for the awesome recipes!! I love changing it up!
