    • Oh don’t worry about that! If kept properly the oils have a shelf live of up to 10 years! (some people say more than that also)

        • I could not find a way to leave a comment only to reply to this post. I would love to win the essential oils kit. I suffer with a chronic illness that causes severe body wide pain, fatigue, migraines & numerous other symptoms. I am always trying to find new ways to help relieve some of the symptoms of this illness. I have heard that essential oils could really help. I think lavender would be my favorite!

    • Lavender is my favorite essential oil. I use it in my bath water and on sore muscles. I also use it in my cleaning products. 🙂

    • Oops half my comment disappeared. I meant to say because I’m very interested in essential oil but I haven’t had the change to try which ones I like the best because it is not likely that you will buy a whole bunch of oils you know nothing about and with this I get the chance to try them out.

  5. Thank you for this opportunity. I would LOVE to try the thieves oil most as we have decided not to get the flu vaccine this year. I have heard that daily application of this product will help prevent illnesses. I have a little one that I would love to utilize this product on and incorporate it in our daily routine.     • Thieves is my favorite essential oil. I use it immediately at the first sign of a cold and it prevents me from progressing into one. I love the spicey scent and it doesn’t bother my husband’s sensitive nose since it is all natural 🙂

  27. I love essential oils. Other than using them in cleaning products,I made up a concocction one day out of the blue. I had been working outside cutting some sumac and weeds. The next day on my arm I noticed little bumps that had some pus in them. I have never had poision ivy so not sure if that was it. So I rushed and got out coconut oil, lavender and tea tree. Mixed that all up and rubbed it in good on my arm. I kept it on all day and the next. By the third day the little “blisters” had went away. I don’t know what it was but I believe the oils killed whatever it was.

  46. I really really really want to win this kit! I am brand new to essential oils. I only have lavender right now. We bought it when my 7 month old son had his first big illness and it was suggested to help bring his fever down. We now put it on his feet every night for bedtime.

  209. Only one I have bought is lavender, which is almost gone. When leaving home I wear it like perfume, only perfume I wear because I have friends with chemical sensitivities but this does not bother them. I put it in a spray for my pillow also.     For me personally-Thieves. Been sick 13 years and this was the solution when like you- antibiotics failed. Steriods failed me too- but not Thieves. I love oils and use them.     • My favorite oil is lavender. I chose that one because my 8 week old baby suffers from acid reflux which in turn makes her colicky. When she starts to cry and get upset, I rub lavender on the bottom of her feet then I place some under my nose and hold her close to me. This helps to calm her down as well as keep me calm. Since I’ve been using lavender her screaming/crying episodes went from 3+ hours to 5-10 minutes and I’m able to stay calm instead of becoming anxious and frustrated.

      I would LOVE to win this kit because I only have samples I was given. As a stay at home mom, the budget is extremely tight right now since it’s the holidays and we have had to purchase plane tickets to visit my husband’s grandparents who are failing in health. Winning this would not only give me a great head start to havin my own essential oils instead of samples (which are almost completely used up), but would enable me to spread the knowledge about essential oils and be able to give my friends samples so they can experience for themselves how amazing essential oils are!

He had the most severe brain hemmorhage around birth (grade 4) that a person can have and still live. He is much like a 2 year old!   688. I am just learning how wonderful essential oils are. I like that they’re natural and safe.   698. Wow! I’m not the only one who would love this prize! I’m trying to learn a lot about EOs! I seen a lot post about four thieves. I used it on a sore on my tongue and it went away in a day. Boy did it sting though!!!

I have a few that I’ve been given as gifts, such as tea tree oil, lavender and basil and I love to use these for health problems for my family and in cleaning, instead of using nasty chemicals.   705. I love everything about essential oils! Lavendar is by far my favorite is it just a powerhouse that can be used for everything. I am particularly interested in trying Theives Oil as I have heard wonderful things about it, but haven’t yet tried any of the Young Living oils. I currently use Doterra and want to give Young Living a try.

  724. I discovered the ancient healing oils about ten years ago. I use them for inhalations for a calming effect. We use the peppermint oil on the bottom of the feet for bringing down fevers. Eucalyptus is wonderful for opening nasal passages, Thieves for the immunity. I love pure essential oils and I am grateful for a chance to win this kit. Thank you.

  732. First of all I ADORE your blog! I live in rural Ontario, Canada and in my small town, there are very few like minded individuals who want to live as cleanly and wholesomely (and fully!!) as possible!
    I have used some of the oils you’ve mentioned but finding them sround here is really hard, and shipping to the middle of nowhere is pricy, but I’d love to try purification!
    My kids are constantly bombarded by mosquitoes in our neck of the woods, an so far nothing I’ve concocted in my kitchen keeps the bugs off!
